Hiking in Virginia

We live in the Blue Ridge Mountains, in the Roanoke Valley. Plenty of hiking and outdoor opportunities here. Here are some favorites

The view into the Catawba Valley and Tinker Cliffs.

Sharp Top
Visiting a monument to a movie star from the 50's who was killed in a plane crash on the side of the ridge.
Lots of streams and waterfalls, with cold, cold water.
Also lots of cliffs for climbing and rapelling. Here is Scott going over one edge. ropes
